Quick tips for a great portrait...

Children

Keep it simple.  Shoes or socks? ... We love bare feet for children's portraits.

Avoid bold patterns and large stripes.

   -

Clothing should be kept simple.  Avoid bold patterns and large stripes.

Avoid sleeveless or short-sleeve tops.  Long sleeves photograph best.

Glasses:  Avoid glass glare and facial distortion by removing lenses. We can help you with that.

Makeup:  Wear slightly more than normal.  In a photograph, you lose 20% of the makeup you see in a mirror.

Can't decide on what to wear? ... Bring extra outfits and we will help with the selection.

Don't forget to bring along any special items such as ... musical instruments, sporting equipment, your best friend, or even the family dog.

Avoid having anyone "jump-off" of the portrait because he or she is dressed lighter or darker than others.

Suggestion ~ Select a color that coordinates with the room in which the portrait will be displayed.
